my first week as a college student

Wow...I have just had my first week of college. It has gone by very quickly but I have learned a lot about the life of a college student. The best thing so far is that I get to wake up at 8 'o' clock instead 6 a.m. and I am liking that a whole lot. Then after 12:35 every day i get to go home do my homework and relax. I guess thats kind of lazy but it works for me!

I am so glad that i got into this program not only because of the free college credit but also i get to meet new people and get to really know the people that I have already met. For instance, I have one student in particular named Celestina that attends the same school as I do but I've never actually talked to her. I have found out that she is a really cool person and has a lot of interesting things to say. I have also just met a student named Keven and hes pretty nice. I tease him about being a teddy bear from Bryan.

All three of us are in the same Speech class together and we have study groups 2 times a week together. The study groups are always a lot of fun and its nice to know that we are not all alone in class. We depend on each other to critique our work and to give honest opinions on it. Its challenging to get up in front of a class full of strangers so its nice that we can look to our fellow Summer Scholars for suppport.
